Was in the Exeter branch of Poundland this morning and spotted some model car kits made by "Grafix",There were 3 different kits on the shelf.
Italian Sports Car, Berlinetta.
British Sports Car, GT Sports Coupe.
German Sports Car, Sports Lite Series.
They are sold as "scale" kits but nowhere on the box does it say what the "scale" is.
As the kits come with paint and brush, I thought that they were worth buying, no matter what the scale they turned out to be.
Getting home and opening the box's the kits look to be 1:32 scale.
The kits are basic, the "Ferrari" is a more or less one piece body shell, the "Aston" a two piece body shell split longways down the centre line, while the "Mercedes" is a three part body shell with two side pieces and a bonnet, roof, boot section. None of the kits have any glazing. These area's could be painted black to make them similar to the Scalextric "Super Resistant Cars".
