Hello, Started out with this pile of parts. The D3D chassis parts I had been wanting to give a try to see how it worked. The body is from Munter and a very nice casting.

The wheels are from RS Slot, the front tires are some Ninco classics and the rears are Michael Ortman.

Chassis fit together with some 1/16th brass.

Here is the chassis with all the running gear. Got the yellow wall warts in place to mount the body. Just have to cut them to length and straighten them up.

So then I set about grinding off the molded lights, made some of my own as there were none in the spares box. Added marker lights, a gas cap and wind screen. Did not use the interior that came with the body kit as the cat made off with it. Used Testors paint, primer and Guards Red. The decals are left overs from a Penelope Pitlane kit. Inserts are RS Slot. Used some photo etched hood latches.
Used some Higgins Sepia Ink for some of the panel lines. Still too dark and I need to work on that.

The chassis is very light and the car runs very fast and quiet. Regards, John
