Hi there all..
After working many months on this scratch build as well as others, I finally finished this build of a Movie car called "THE CAR". This was to join my other Movie and TV related slot car collection.
This build is based on a car from a 70s Movie called "THE CAR". The original car in the movie, was based on a Ford Lincoln Continental 2 door sedan. Fortunately Chase Cars now produce one in resin.
I contacted Gareth of Chase cars to see if he could supply me with a damaged body, as there were so many body modifications, I did not want to use one of his excellent good, resin ones.
He supplied me with body, which I thank him for..... So the build was on...
The Photos I have posted are just a representation of the different stages of the build. If I had posted every one I took, there would be so many more.
The final photos are of the finished "CAR"....I hope you like them.
