2nd go at BIY (Build/Bodge It Yourself)

Well it took a while but the weather has improved and finally had chance to get started on a few new projects, a resin sierra cossie, 2 airfix wrc cars being married with msc montecarlo chassis. here is how it went so far!

Next job was to modify the msc chassis so I could fix the chassis to them. The front body post points were too wide and there was no way I could use the standard fixing points, so they were chopped off and I used the space at the end of the front axle mountings for fixing points



Added body posts to airfix fiesta and mini




Now things got messy, out comes the paint! the cossie I'm painting as a road car, the mini as a wrc car and the fiesta as valentine rossi's 2014 Monza rally replica.



fiesta had a 2nd layer of matt black paint




This is progress for now, the detail work remains on all cars, lights/decals etc decals for the mini I have sorted, but the rossi replica is not so easy to find decals for.




that's all I got for now, hopefully I can finish them sooner or later and will post the end results when I finish them.
