Hi all.
I have been caught up in the resin world for a while now, and thorougly enjoying every minute of it.
I like building the cars up with my own hands , and finishing them off to make a nice looking and nice running car.
I get not only satisfaction, but a sense of pride in what I accomplish.
I am far from the best , but I am getting better each time.
While building my latest car, I began thinking about the bits and bobs that come with the cars , and what I would like to see in that area.
Then I thought about other cars that would be nice to have that dont seem to be made even in resin.
Admittedly my tastes are mine, and likely yours will be different.
It occured to me , do I want to see more metal parts for exhausts and suspension.
How about drivers , am I really happy with a tray and drivers torso or do I want a full driver.
of course this means what chassis design do I want so I can have a full driver vs a tray.
Is a sidewinder a better idea for those with motors that would sit under the tray.
Do I want s cans, slimlines , or even boxers to be able to ake the car the way I want it.
what options could I get to achievea nice looking car and a well. balanced car.
More thoughts , What styles of cars or models would I like to see that I could make a field from.
And what should I look for in the manufacture of the body and accessories. Thick, thin , heavy light lexan widows vs clear resin.
Anyway, I really love what I am doing , but wondered how others may feel about my thoughts, and where we would like to see the resin manufacturer's take us.
I am currently doing 60s F1s, but have a to do list of Can Ams and sports cars.
So I guess I am wondering what others think about the resin scene and where it could go or improve.
All the best
Bob
