Hello Folks, This has been built for the 2015 (fall) VRAA proxy series, and will compete in the 1.5 ltr. class.
The body is an original Monogram 158 from one of their static kits, and I have made/added a few bits from the parts box. It has been done to resemble the car of Lorenzo Bandini.
The chassis started life as a Beardog kit, and has had several mods.,.......altered wheelbase, guide tongue/guide lead, vertical front axle placement, central pivot hinge etc. etc.
It uses RSSlot 13" wheels, Dart inserts, and the mandated FF050 motor from BWA/DART.
Initial testing has been quite encouraging.
