This is another build destined for an upcoming proxy....."The Last Open Road" proxy for early/mid 50's sports cars.
This will be entered into the "big bore" category (over 2.0ltr. capacity)
I was a bit lazy on this one, and decided to use an out of the box Ninco Corvette SR2 as the donor shell.....it has been shot with a coat of semi-gloss clear to tone down the shine, and has had a few detail bits added, including a new driver/head to replace the hideous Ninco noggin.
With dimension constraints, I had to go with an inline configuration, and it has been built on the "beefy" side, to accommodate some of the "occurances" in proxy racing. It is powered by one of the newish, Slot-it 19.5k motors, and I have been very pleased with initial testing.

PS It started to rain as I was shooting, so the little clear blobs on the shell are raindrops...honest!!
