Humbrol Clear

Ok I gave it a go using quick light coats with my air brush. I suspect my man cellar is too cold and damp and one of my cars has started to look like its done a Swedish Rally. Highly recommended if your after that effect but not what I was after just some protection for the car whilst racing.

I have tried washing in water and wet wipes which seem to reduce the effect but has anyone any other rescue tips?

I did read the other thread on clear parts but this is on any painted surface.
I await the results of the hive mind.
