I have couple of projects I am working on.
1. This is a Lola t70 from an old static Aurora kit in not too bad condition. Somewhere along its journey it has lost some parts, but I managed to fabricate its missing rear end from plastic card. First time Ive done something like this. I used 1mm card, maybe 0.5 would be better but its what I had in hand and I managed to get a decent curve. Its also missing driver and intake detail but thats not really an issue.
I would be interested to know who makes a good set of wheel inserts and wheels. The inserts that came with the car are of course meant for the static tyres and are too large for the wheel hubs I have I.e. Revel/Riko/ MRRC. I am working on the body right now but will probably scratch build a chassis contemporary to its issue and possibly use a Ks motor I have l llying around. Plan for the body is to prime and paint then Tamiya mica blue TS51. luckily the body came with original decals.
2. An Mrrc Novi body again with some parts I have picked up along the way. Ive attached the steering unit to the motor but the guide I have is a Vip one and though it slips on, it sits way up high in the body. Any idea on correct guide. The wheels are correct I believe and also have some spare wheels can anyone I.d. these please.
