It's been a long while since I last built something, but inspired by the 2015 IPS Proxy round hosted at Tyneside Slot Car Club back in May, I've entered a car for next year's series.
Several years ago I acquired this resin Ferrari 860 Monza shell from Martin Field. Although it was added to a very long 'to do' list, it seemed a good subject for the IPS, so it's jumped the queue and finally found its place on the workbench.

I've cleaned up the shell, removed excess resin and done a little reshaping here and there. It'll be an enjoyable and relatively straight forward build using a PCS chassis and BWA mabuchi motor as per the IPS rules; the model will represent Fangio's #17 entry in the 1956 Sebring 12 Hours. I'll post more pictures as and when it takes shape.
