I recently purchased this Airfix Aston kit. I've often thought about getting one of these, but I was a little hesitant parting with my cash as the previous one I had many years ago had a badly warped bodyshell. I'm not sure if it has been re-tooled by Airfix but I was glad to say the bodyshell was all ok.
The bodyshell actually required very little preperation prior to spraying other than a quick rub down, clean and the removal of a little flash.
I went for a racing green rather than silver and used the PCS32 chassis which made for a nice and stright forward conversion.
There are a few bits of detailing to finish off such as chrome edging around the windows but apart from that it's pretty much finished.
