Humber station wagon 1940s

Rather than churn out yet another Montgomery staff car, I decided to convert it into a station wagon as might be used by civilians, similar to those used by the army and the RAF. As you can see it was an exercise in plastic strip as these cars were quite Tudorbethan. The grille had to be cut out as these more workaday vehicles had cheap mesh radiators rather than the posh Monty metal version. I realised after completion that I'd made the rear end too long but couldn't face cutting it down, so this is a one-off bespoke station wagon (extended). I'm not sure what would happen if it gets rolled - instant decapitation probably :-)
