This past weekend, my wife and daughter surprised me with the amt re-issue of the 1961 Ford Ranchero!
Even though I haven't quite finished the '56 T-Bird I had to start building the Ranchero!
What a great sight to see the original box (reprinted) in all of its retro glory!

The model inside is just great! The body is clean and its lines are very crisp:

I just couldn't wait to get some paint on it!
I chose a gold that (to me) looks very 1960s
