Here is my latest build. The 1975 Tyrrell 007 of Patrick Depailler. The body is another brilliant shell from Simon (DNQ). I decided to use a modified chassis from a Scalextric Tyrrell 001 for this project.
The body shell needed modification as I was not going to use the "engine" section. The Scalextric "engine" moulding required some modification and air intakes were added on the front wheels suspension mounts and over the rear axle/crown gear cover. I also had to cut the chassis to extend the wheelbase.
The rear wing was my creation but Simon supplied the front wing end plates. The decals are from Pattos (various sizes) and a couple from DMC.
