Hi there all...
Here are some photos of a "Pioneer Camaro" Saloon, which I have converted into a Convertible. Top Up and Down.
I started off with a standard Pioneer Camaro shell, cut the roof off, fabricated the infill piece behind the rear seating area, cast one of my down roof sections, and trial fitted it.
I then modified one of my up roof castings, as the Camaro convertible roof is slightly longer than a Mustang convertible.
Once I was satasfied with the body conversions and the Resin up and down roof pieces, I then painted the Body in Grey Primer, then in a nice Metallic Blue Acrylic Nail varnish colour.
Followed by approx coats of 5/6 coats of Acrylic clear.
The Front seats, I modified by filling in the backs so they were solid, as you could see them with the top down.
The interior, I painted in a Tan Colour to complement the Blue Metallic body colour.
I then fitted all the detail pieces to the painted bodyshell, including one of Pioneers Drivers.
The wheels are as fitted to the Mustang/Camaro Trans-Am Race cars range.
This was a nice conversion which could almost be used on most saloon cars.
I have also posted some photos of the Finished "Blue Camaro Convertible"
"White Camaro Convertible" conversion to follow.
I hope you like it. Any questions please ask.
All the best.. Martin.
