Hello all,
two new models for my Le Mans collection.
Both original sport GT racing cars run at Le Mans in´57; among some other Maserati racing cars one type 300s (#12) and 450s (#2) take part.
The 300s model is based on a G.Turner kit which is always fun to do; for the 450s I used a -Racer- body.
The 450s was a little bit wider and larger than the 300s but there was no difference like this. So I had to cut off the -oversize- of the -Racer- in width and length to
get this model right in scale 1/32.

When all -interventions- were finished and fine tuned to the chassis construction I could continue with paintwork.

Some steps along when paintwork is done detail work starts: among a lot of detail work I will describe how to do new window glazings:
one main problem is when you alter measures glazing parts did not fit anymore. I had to do new cockpit glazings for both.
Using a transparent very fine package wrapping I could manage it.
To get the shape right do a -incoiling- which is base for cutting this polystyrol glazing sheet.

Both chassis constructions for front motor position are based on -Fly- or Revell- spare parts which are modified
and perpared for new purpose. (wheelbase and front axle position, pick up position.)
Mechanical parts are taken from -Slot it-, front and rear lighting by -Overdrive- electronic. (XD1 system)
