If a get a resin body kit from a manufacturer do I build it original for posterity or replace out of scale parts like too thick roll cage with thinner more scale wire etc. Lazy me leans to original as that is how it was molded originally. It is a slot car not a replica. I can never get it completely accurate based on pictures of 1:1 cars as the molded one is not a replica.
If it gets too tedious I might not finish it. Patience not being one of my strong points. That and closet perfectionism.
