I was happily testing my 1/32nd Breadvan today when one of the cats decided to join in. The car took off over a paw and hit the barriers with quite a crack. Fortunately there was no damage to the outside but the front mountings let go.
French glue is the absolute pits. I realise that the EU regs ban oil based and all that but even the plastic cement doesn't hold. The contact adhesive breaks the trades descriptions act anywhere in the world and epoxy keeps losing the 'e' - I get friends to bring out tins of Evostick from the UK!
Quite how I'm supposed to build a shell with adequate mountings I don't know. Even the superglue seems weaker than I remember.
