The Most Simple Car Possible

Hey guys, first post on the forum. So, I found a motor that had a very long axle, that I could use for the slot car without having to build a gear/pulley system. I am planning to attach the wheels straight onto the motor axle. But first, I need some help.

1. What the hell do I build the chassis out of?
2. What do I build the body out of, I does not need to be complicated, just needs to resemble a car loosely. Kind of like those soviet slot cars.
3. How to build the entire thing in general, like what I should start with and stuff.

P.S. I have built a slot car before, but it failed miserably.
