I thought for my next build I would have a try at modifying a kit from Revell which was a snap together set. One trip to the model shop and I found a VW Touareg rally kit for a tenner.

I have managed to install the guide and the geared rear axle, hiding wires neatly underneath the floor of the interior. I'm currently having difficulty installing the motor securely in position and making the axles accept a suitable bearing. What I want to do is use as many kit parts as possible instead of replacing, so this of course includes the wheels and tyres.

This will be an interesting one if I can figure it out.
