We all know some NSR's are not quite 1/32 and for instance the rear tyres on a Fly March are a tad too big. Some older Scalextric cars have wider tires etc.
How much over/under do you scale scratch guys feel happy with. What is allowed say for aesthetic reasons. Sometimes the correct wheel/tire combination cannot be found or lets say roll bars need to be bigger to give strength in the real world. Some Scalextric cars have wider tires etc.
I know that some brass chassis cars use wheels/tires that are way too big for scale. Some 3/4 inch wide!
I'm just curious? Before I get analysis paralysis. I've never built a car from completely nothing.
