Hello, I purchased two Classic Bodies. Both are fiber glass I believe? Is the prepping for primer and paint the same as working with resin? Also both have a tacky feel, will just a good bath in warm water and soap take care of this? This is my first time working with Betta Classic Bodies and I like them both very much. Just want to make sure they are surface prepped correctly before I start to lay down primer and paint. Also will Tamiya filler putty work for those areas that need it? Thank you ahead for any help.
Oh, the two bodies I purchased are the 1954 Connaught 2.5 LTR streamliner and the 1955 Ferrari Super Squalo both of which I have been looking forward to adding to my fleet of slot cars. Perhaps there are members who have built up these two cars who might add a picture or two so I could have a look at how they finished up these cars. Regards
