I have been working on a Shadowfax Alfa Romeo 308 GP, an excellent kit provided by Marlon.
I decided to make one of the versions used by brazilian driver Chico Landi in the Grand Prix of Gávea in Rio de Janeiro 1947-48:

Although there is a chassis kit available for this car, I decided to make an old school type using brass and piano wire (just a personal choice):

Some additional bars to reinforce the structure and avoid vibration:

And here it is the result (still need to add brakes in the wheels)

The wheathering has been applied considering the type of "maintainance" these cars used to have in Brazil during those days (some pictures of that era were also used as reference).
despite the guide position, she performs nicely on track and she is very predictable as well.
