Got this one painted but I am waiting on racing decals to finish it off
This is a resin cast shell and driver I did. I vacuum formed the glass.
The whole thing sits on a Gift Card chassis configured as an anglewinder with machine aluminum rims. Inserts are 7mm snap fasteners from the sewing store.
Airbrushed acrylics over a base primer provide the base for the decals.
I found self adhesive aluminim foil in used in HVAC applications. It is like having a roll of baremetal foil. Great stuff. The front windshild mask is made for it as well. It was painted flat black before I installed it
One the decals are applied I will add door handles and windshield wipers.
